Every account has its own best time.
Generic “post at 9am EST” advice is wrong for most accounts. Your client’s actual audience has a specific window when they are most likely to engage, and it changes by day of the week, by content type, by season.
Viraly Post analyzes the last 90 days of engagement data for each connected account and surfaces the peak engagement windows. Schedule posts to publish in that window automatically, or override manually if you have a strategic reason.
- Per-account analysis based on real engagement data
- Per-day-of-week recommendations
- Per-platform recommendations (Instagram peaks differ from LinkedIn)
- One-click accept the recommendation or customize
- Updates monthly as engagement patterns shift
How the algorithm picks the time.
For each connected account, Viraly Post pulls the last 90 days of post engagement (likes, comments, saves, shares, watch time) from the platform’s analytics API. We weight more recent posts higher than older ones, normalize for time zone, and surface the top 3 engagement windows per day.
Within those windows we account for content type: Reels peak differently from carousels, which peak differently from stories. The recommendation engine surfaces the right window for what you are scheduling.
- Last 90 days of real engagement data per account
- Recency-weighted scoring
- Time zone normalization per client workspace
- Per-content-type recommendations (Reels vs carousel vs story)
- Updates monthly automatically
A core part of every Viraly Post plan. Available on Starter, Pro, and Scale.
What agencies say about this feature.
“I had a client whose audience was actually most active at 11pm her local time, not at the “standard” 9am that every guide recommended. Viraly Post surfaced that and we shifted her schedule. Engagement went up 42% in two months. The data was hiding in plain sight.”
Pairs well with these.
